Plarium’s Guy Ulmer Presents At White Nights Prague 2017
Guy Ulmer, a Plarium Platform Technology Specialist from Israel, recently gave a presentation at White Nights Prague 2017, an international conference for the game industry.
His presentation focused on Strategy Game Design and the Operational Level of War.
Guy used Plarium’s Gates of War as an example to analyze the entire mobile strategy genre and highlight the following essential features of a successful game project:
- Understanding the genre and its specifics
- Targeting
- Competitive analysis
Guy also stressed the importance of game design and provided specifics on how to put strategic, tactical, and operational levels of war into a game context.
