Plarium employees took part in a large-scale Warmth for Children campaign organized by the Children of Heroes Charity Fund. Together, they raised the funds to buy warm sets of clothes for 300 children.

The Children of Heroes Charity Fund takes care of children who have lost one or both parents. The Warmth for Children project aims to provide warm clothing and heaters to the fund’s wards as well as protect Ukrainian children from harsh weather conditions in the face of war and extreme cold.

The primary goal of Plarium’s participation in the project was to purchase 200 sets of warm clothes. Each set included the following items: winter clothing, shoes, a hat, a scarf, and a body warmer. Almost 500 Plarium employees took part in the campaign, with the goal achieved within a month. Plarium increased the fundraising goal and donated funds for an additional 100 sets for children as a result.

“Every year, Plarium organizes a charity event called Mission: Christmas, when employees buy gifts for children living in difficult circumstances. Our mission remains the same, but the format has changed: we joined the Warmth for Children campaign. It was important for us that the campaign dealt with an actual problem. Besides, the goal of the campaign is close to the goal of our Mission: Christmas event – to give gifts to children who need them most and share warmth with them” – Valeriia Mamai, Event Manager at Plarium.

Together with the Children of Heroes Charity Fund, Plarium created a landing page where company employees could purchase gift certificates for warm clothing and add personal greetings. As soon as all the certificates were purchased, the employees of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund sent them to the children’s guardians. The guardians then helped the children choose and buy warm clothing.

“I used to adore winter holidays. As a kid, I’d always run to the Christmas tree in search of presents. I cherish those warm memories. Mission: Christmas gives me an opportunity to share this warmth with children who need it most. Thank you!” – Illia Ageiev, Project Manager at Plarium.
