We are looking for talented System Administrators to join our External IT Department, which sets up and manages production servers to support updates of the company’s products. As part of this team, you will configure and administer these servers, setting up our products on them. You will also need to ensure the security and uninterrupted operation of our server infrastructure, which is used by over 1.5 million players worldwide.
Configuring game servers, monitoring their operation and fixing any problems that occur
Managing the CDN and DNS networks
Placing Plarium’s products on production servers
Setting up and administering virtual servers on cloud hosting platforms, including Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Optimizing server architecture to handle the load of our games
Configuring the interaction between servers
Creating fault-tolerant systems to ensure the stable operation of our games
Creating and updating our technical documentation and knowledge base
Ensuring effective operation of production servers with prompt troubleshooting
At least 2 years of experience administering Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
Experience administering the Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with the architecture and communications protocols of the Internet
Hands-on experience configuring and administering Internet Information Services (IIS) e.g. web applications, address pools, FTP servers, SSL etc.
Experience working with cloud servers and services
Knowledge of PowerShell and practical experience with it
Experience handling Windows Firewall
System and application security management knowledge
Fluency in Ukrainian
English language skills at the intermediate level
Understanding of DNS and reverse proxy services (e.g. Cloudflare)
Familiarity with continuous integration systems and automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, PowerShell, Terraform)
Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure certificate
Experience configuring routers and network filters
Officially registered full-time employment
