Plarium Kharkiv is looking for talented QA Engineers to join our Action Games Department, which is currently developing Mech Arena: Robot Showdown, a third-person MMO shooter. You can check out the game here: iOS, Android.

The team tests the game client’s logic, multiplayer logic, and user interface, as well as testing the department’s internal tools. Our specialists also cooperate with Unity engineers to improve the engine’s performance. The primary development language is C#.

  • Testing new and existing in-game features
  • Testing data migration, as well as game performance, security, and game balance (including balance in level design)
  • Analyzing requirements and setting acceptance testing criteria
  • Creating test documentation and keeping it up to date
  • Collaborating with game designers during the development of new and existing features
  • Collaborating with developers, concept artists, technical artists, localization teams, and support teams to diagnose issues


  • At least two years of experience in software testing
  • Experience in mobile application testing
  • Understanding of the client-server model
  • Knowledge of various software testing techniques and methods, as well as experience applying them
  • Ability to maintain testing documentation (test cases and checklists)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • English language skills at the pre-intermediate level or higher


  • Hands-on experience with the Unity Editor
  • Basic knowledge of C#
  • Ability to collect logs using ADB/Logcat, decipher them and choose the necessary information
  • Understanding of the practical aspects of game testing
  • Experience playing video games in multiple genres

Test task

Technical interview
This will give you the opportunity to tell us about your experience and allow us to explain the technical aspects of the job. If you live a long way from the studio, we can arrange a Skype interview instead.
