Plarium is a multinational software development company specializing in mobile and browser games. We have studios in Tel Aviv, San Francisco, Michigan, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Odesa. Our games are currently played by 435 million users across 150 countries.

Plarium Kharkiv is looking for talented QA Engineers to join our Action Games Department, which is currently developing Mech Arena, a third-person MMO shooter. You can check out the game here: iOS, Android.

The QA team tests the game’s user interface, client-side logic, and multiplayer features, and the department’s internal tools. The primary development language is C#.

The successful applicant will be able to work at our Lviv office and remotely in Ukraine or Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Testing new and existing in-game features

  • Testing data migration, as well as game performance, security, game balance (including balance in level design), and LiveOps features

  • Analyzing requirements and setting acceptance testing criteria

  • Creating test documentation and keeping it up to date

  • Collaborating with game designers during the development of new and existing features

  • Collaborating with developers, concept artists, technical artists, localization teams, and support teams to diagnose issues

What we expect

  • At least two year of experience in software testing

  • Experience in mobile application testing

  • Understanding of the client-server model

  • Knowledge of various software testing techniques and methods, as well as experience applying them

  • Ability to maintain testing documentation (test cases and checklists)

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • English language skills at the pre-intermediate level or higher

Desired

  • Hands-on experience with the Unity Editor

  • Basic knowledge of C#

  • Ability to collect logs using ADB, decipher them and choose the necessary information

  • Understanding of the practical aspects of game testing

  • Experience playing video games in multiple genres
