The successful applicant will join the team working with Mech Arena, a third-person MMO action shooter. The game is focused on team interaction, competitive spirit, and character and weapon development. The player's task is to gather a team of 5 mechs with unique abilities and weapons to improve combat tactics, compete in tournaments, and climb leaderboards. Mech Arena is available for iOS, Android and PC/Mac.
The QA team tests the game’s user interface, client-side logic, and multiplayer features, and the department’s internal tools. The primary development language is C#.
Testing new and existing in-game features
Testing data migration, as well as game performance, security, game balance (including balance in level design), and LiveOps features
Analyzing requirements and setting acceptance testing criteria
Creating test documentation and keeping it up to date
Collaborating with game designers during the development of new and existing features
Collaborating with developers, concept artists, technical artists, localization teams, and support teams to diagnose issues
At least two year of experience in software testing
Experience in mobile application testing
Understanding of the client-server model
Knowledge of various software testing techniques and methods, as well as experience applying them
Ability to maintain testing documentation (test cases and checklists)
Languages: Ukrainian (fluent), English (pre-intermediate level or higher)
Hands-on experience with the Unity Editor
Basic knowledge of C#
Ability to collect logs using ADB, decipher them and choose the necessary information
Understanding of the practical aspects of game testing
Experience playing video games in multiple genres
