We are looking for a talented Game Designer to join our Game Design Department as a content specialist. They will join a Game Design team consisting of 6 members, which is responsible for creating game rules for characters and weapons, designs, game modes, and inventing mechanics for metagame and player progression.
The successful candidate will be working on Mech Arena, a third-person MMO shooter primarily developed by the Action Games Department that emphasizes team interaction, competitive spirit, and character and weapon development. You can find it on iOS, Android, and PC/Mac. Our game designers also interact with the monetization, development, testing, and UX teams.
One of the project’s challenges is to adapt game mechanics for the mobile platform. To meet this and other challenges, our specialists draw on the company's game development experience and rely on data from a team of analysts.
Creating character and weapon concepts
Configuring the content balance (i.e., characters, weapons, and pilots)
Running content playtests and analyzing the results
Creating and maintaining game design documentation
Improving players’ gaming experience using content
At least 1 year of work experience as a Game Designer
Experience working with game-related KPIs
Experience playing action shooters and hero shooters
Experience describing requirements for new features in GDD format
Knowledge of design thinking processes (Desirability, Feasibility, Viability, Double Diamond)
Experience creating game balances in Google Sheets
Fluency in Ukrainian
English language skills at the upper-intermediate level or higher
Basic Unity skills
Familiarity with content creation processes
