Israeli Game Design team is one of the largest in Plarium and responsible for design, analysis, feature concepts, and game balance of our projects. The team contains several feature designers, balance designers, level designers and more. Working hand-to-hand with other departments, our job is to provide the best creative and technical solutions, in order to make the best games in the industry


  • As a Game Design Team Lead, you'll be a designer-manager hybrid with an influence on game design and a group of designers
  • You’ll help shape the systems and mechanics that make up the foundation of a game, and then set a clear plan of action to see them through
  • You oversee your team throughout production, managing their creative workload, scheduling tasks, and setting realistic deadlines
  • Collaborate with designers, programmers, artists, animators, QA, Analytics and other production teams to ensure constant communication & consistency across the board.
  • As an empathetic mentor, you recognize and develop the strengths of your designers and create an environment of trust for each one to succeed
  • Thanks to your understanding of the methods and tools to create, solve, and navigate design, you can step in when need be to help your team bring all features from concept to completion


  • Coordinate with the Game Director, Studio Manager, Senior Producers, and other team leads to execute the game vision with excellence.
  • Create, prioritize, assign, and follow up on tasks and the advancement of the team’s work with regards to deliverables
  • Anticipate and recognize potential problems and recommend solutions
  • Know the game’s story and gameplay (game design documents) and understand the technical/artistic constraints to be able to lead/coach the team
  • Collaborate with design and production teams on both games and features creation
  • Be a mentor in terms of technical/artistic aspects for team members
  • Organize and lead team meetings, spread and ensure an overall access to information for each member of Design teams
  • Represent the team
  • Carry out all other related tasks

Professional requirements: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Game Design or Product Management (in games)
  • Participation in at least two complete game production or equivalent
  • Prior management experience required

  • Critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and plenty of flexibility
  • A solid understanding of the market and a (fiery) passion for video games
  • Excellent mentorship capabilities & a whole lot of empathy
  • Excellent English, spoken and read / written
  • Knowledge of JIRA or similar is desirable, mastery of pack office
