We are looking to hire a part time Finance Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills that is detail-oriented, has strong problem-solving skills, and has a curious nature.

The perfect candidate has a breadth of skills and a keen interest in the efficiency and evolution of processes, financial reporting and analysis coupled with outstanding communication skills, and technical ability. We have set up a new entity in Spain, and this person will become a key Business Partner of the General Manager in Spain, with overseeing support of the Director of Financial Reporting in the central office in Israel. She or He will support the Spanish brand to establish the necessary processes and reporting to excel at the operative level and support the rapid growth expectations in the coming years.

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact with external Bookkeepers for Accounting/Tax

  • Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process, and conduct monthly reviews

  • Prepare bank payment orders through the Client-Bank software and verify all bank movements and transactions on a regular basis

  • Predict all the cash-flow needs of the organization and keep track of the actuals

  • Excellent understanding of Spanish Payroll to be able to Review local Payroll

  • According to the local regulations, coordinate with the company’s assessors to present the taxes on time and in the correct form.

  • Dealing with Adhoc requests from Israeli Finance Team

Requirements

  • Advanced level of English – as liaison with the Israeli Finance Team is essential.

  • Degree or secondary qualification in finance/accounting or related (essential).

  • Experience in Spanish accounting standards.

  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.

  • Solid proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and finance software.

  • Solid understanding of financial metrics.

  • Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles.

  • Excellent knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations

  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to growing requirements of the business
