Plarium is seeking a talented Environment Concept Artist to produce high-quality artworks, to convey an inspired visual representation of game’s assets, for a new upcoming mobile title.

As an Environment Concept Artist, you will be tasked with generating visual references for game content (Background Layout and Design, Props, Rendering various assets and textures)

The ideal candidate must have the stylistic flexibility, experience in the gaming industry, natural talent of a fine artist and also be able to work and communicate well within a team.


  • Creating visual concepts for Environments (Landscapes, Architecture, interiors & exteriors)

  • Preparing model sheets for 3D department

  • Rendering various assets of the game, such as: Background elements, Textures, etc.

What we expect

  • Strong illustration skills and Environment Concept Design.

  • Strong understanding of proportion, scale, perspective, lighting and color, shape and silhouette.

  • 5+ years experience in the gaming/animation/post-production industry in Environment creation.

  • Understanding of the production pipeline and workflow in a close contact with other teams (3D, Assembly, Animation)

  • Proficiency in creative tools like Photoshop, Painter, etc.

  • Good communication skills and passion to work and collaborate within a team.

  • Game developer first, and an artist second.


  • Experience in Matte painting and Photobashing

  • Experience with 3D tools (like 3DMax, Maya, Blender, etc.)


  • Experience in creating GUI elements

Test task

This will give you the opportunity to tell us about your experience and allow us to explain the technical aspects of the job. If you live a long way from the studio, we can arrange a Skype interview instead.

Meeting with HR


After the professional/team lead interview, you will meet with our HR specialist. They will give you more information about your development prospects in the company and provide details regarding our employee benefits program.

Meeting with the VP / CEO


In some cases, depending on the position, you will be invited to meet the VP / CEO, for a final decision.
