Plarium is a multinational software development company specializing in mobile and browser games. We have studios in Tel Aviv, San Francisco, Michigan, Krasnodar, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Odesa. Our games are currently played by 380 million users across 150 countries.

Plarium Kharkiv is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our Monetization & Game Services Department, which creates payment processing services for Plarium’s games, as well as tools for setting up and launching live ops events. The team is also responsible for developing customer support tools.

Ability to work at Kharkiv office or remotely (only in Ukraine).

Responsibilities:

  • Configuring fault-tolerant infrastructure
  • Migrating the infrastructure to Google Cloud
  • Deploying and maintaining the department’s tools, including databases and web servers, as well as application servers and containers
  • Introducing the latest developments in DevOps into the project, as well as using advanced technologies and methods to improve our work stack

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience working with Unix-like operating systems
  • Knowledge of networks and network protocols with experience configuring network elements
  • Experience configuring and administering server and software monitoring systems
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines based on Git (Bitbucket)
  • Experience writing scripts in Bash
  • Experience working with the Docker containerization system
  • Experience working with container orchestration systems
  • English language skills at the pre-intermediate level or higher

Desired:

  • Experience working with cloud computing services
  • Experience configuring replication and clustering systems (MySQL & MongoDB)
