About the department:

Plarium is a multinational game development company with studios in Tel Aviv, San Francisco, Michigan, Krasnodar, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Odesa. Our games are currently played by more than 400 million users across 150 countries.

Plarium Kharkiv’s Game BI department is launching an entry-level internship program for DB QA Engineers. Our department analyzes game projects for our studio and processes about 2 billion events per day. We create custom tools to collect, process, store, and analyze data. The data obtained is used to adjust the game balance in every Plarium project.

This internship program is a good opportunity to learn how to analyze and test data. You will get a chance to participate in an intensive course in a group of 4, receiving practical assignments and feedback from our Game BI team’s specialists.

The internship lasts 2 weeks. Interns will work on weekdays from 10:00 to 18:30. Upon successful completion of the internship, you will be able to apply to join our Game BI Team!


  • Improving your knowledge of SQL

  • Learning to find data bugs

  • Creating database requirements and learning how to test databases

What we expect:

  • Basic experience writing SQL queries

  • English language skills (written and spoken) at the pre-intermediate level or higher

  • Keen interest in gaming

  • Analytical mindset

  • Attention to detail

  • Hands-on experience with Google Sheets

  • Readiness to interact with marketing, community, development, and analytics teams


  • Experience in mobile games

  • Knowledge of any programming language (we use C# and Python)

Test task
Our recruiters will ask you to perform a test task. This will allow you to demonstrate your professional skills and give us the chance to evaluate your work.
Waiting for feedback
After you have completed your test task and sent it back to us, we will need up to 5 working days to analyze it. If your test task meets our requirements, you will be invited for an interview with the technical team lead.
Technical interview
This will give you the opportunity to tell us about your experience and allow us to explain the technical aspects of the job. If you live a long way from the studio, we can arrange a Skype interview instead.
Meeting with HR
After the technical interview, you will meet with our HR specialists. They will give you more information on your development prospects in the company and provide details about the employee benefits program.
Ready to start
