Plarium is dedicated to creating the best mobile and PC gaming experiences for our community of over 435 million players worldwide.

Plarium Ukraine is looking for a talented AI Software Engineer to join our Action Games Department, which is currently developing Mech Arena, a third-person MMO shooter. You can check out the game here: iOS, Android.

Up to 20 specialists work on the development of the game at any one time. They are divided into three sub-teams: two on the client-side working with the Unity game engine, and one on the server-side.

The successful applicant will become the leading AI specialist for the game. The principal task of the role will be to develop game characters’ artificial intelligence, with solutions built in C#.

The successful applicant will be able to work at our Lviv office and remotely in Ukraine or Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Developing AI for Mech Arena

  • Building and maintaining tools for the development of AI systems

  • Helping improve the Mech Arena combat engine

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience designing game AI

  • Knowledge of general algorithms and data structures

  • Knowledge of common game AI solutions (GOAP, BehaviourTree, FSM, fuzzy logic)

  • Familiarity with vector mathematics

  • Strong skills in programming and algorithm optimization

Desired

  • Knowledge of C#

  • Experience with Unity
