By popular demand, Plarium and Mattel are bringing back Masters of the Universe™ to RAID: Shadow Legends, allowing players another chance to recruit He-Man and Skeletor to their rosters through June 22, 2026.
The Masters of the Universe franchise, which debuted in 1982, has evolved from a legendary line of action figures and a syndicated 1983 animated series into a global pop-culture pillar. Known for its themes of empowerment, the franchise shares a natural synergy with RAID’s own lineup of eccentric and powerful champions. According to Plarium, the decision to bring back the event was a direct response to a community that "wanted another opportunity to add these legends to their team."

The crossover offers two distinct paths for players to secure these limited-time characters before the June 22 deadline:
Skeletor: The iconic evil Lord of Destruction, is available for free through a dedicated loyalty program. Players simply need to log into RAID: Shadow Legends on seven different days during the event period. As a member of the Knights Revenant faction, Skeletor serves as a high-tier support Champion, utilizing powerful buffs and debuffs to control the battlefield.
He-Man: The heroic defender of Castle Grayskull is the ultimate reward of the Elite Champion Pass. By completing daily quests to earn exclusive prizes, players can eventually unlock He-Man for the Sacred Order faction. Designed as a powerful attacker, he is built to complement Skeletor’s support capabilities in high-level play.
A Basic Champion Pass is also available for free, offering various rewards including a themed avatar.
This return highlights the ongoing trend of "evergreen" collaborations in the mobile gaming space, where nostalgic intellectual properties are reimagined for a modern, digital audience. RAID: Shadow Legends continues to expand its reach across mobile and PC platforms, maintaining its position as one of the top-grossing turn-based RPGs by bridging the gap between classic entertainment and contemporary gaming.
