Plarium is looking for an outstanding Senior Content Writer (Remote) to help support our Community, SEO, HR, Web, Marketing and Game Platforms teams.
As a strong candidate for this position, you must have broad writing experience and deep gaming knowledge. We’re looking for candidates who are comfortable writing SMO and SEO content, web marketing copy, landing page and web content, and occasional UI/UX copy for mobile and web applications.
You have an outstanding eye for detail, excellent lateral-thinking skills, and experience using and creating style guides. You take full ownership of tasks, enjoy research, and self-proof your work independently.

As part of the Creative Department, you will be working with various teams to create and proof content to support our games, web presence, and game platforms.
Maintain quality standards of all English-language content through professional writing, proofing, and editing.
Work with Brand and Creative teams to develop and maintain style guides.
Advise the SEO team, write SEO articles, and control the quality of SEO articles written by freelancers.
Develop and test UI text and strings for Plarium Play and plarium.com.
Develop engaging, original game-related content for our player community, including but not limited to: gameplay tips, strategy guides, event notifications, creative copy, promotional copy, and short video scripts.
Create template responses for common customer support scenarios on our various platforms.
Proofread job postings.
Conduct ad-hoc writing, proofing, and editing as needed (including press releases, articles, guides, web copy, newsletters, collateral materials, game proposals, and other written corporate materials and communication).
Other duties may include, but are not limited to, brainstorming creative references, creating flavor text, drafting wiki articles, codifying style, tone, etc.
Native English speaker with flawless grammar and spelling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for video gaming and the video game industry.
Copywriting/copy editing experience.
Experience writing SEO articles.
Experience writing for social and new media.
Encyclopedic knowledge of games.
Ability to multitask in a multicultural, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to research quickly and effectively.
Strong logical and lateral thinking skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
Experience as a content writer for a gaming studio.
Experience managing a team.
Strong creative writing skills.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience in Journalism, Communication, English Literature, Creative Writing, Technical Writing, or any related field.
Experience working in cross-cultural and cross-studio environments.
Experience with video script-writing.
