Plarium Kharkiv is looking for talented Game Designers to join our Game Design & Analytics Department, which is responsible for design, analysis, feature concepts, and game balance across our multiple projects. The team contains a number of specialists in data analysis, project documentation design, and UX design. They contribute to the creation of technical solutions that enable other teams and departments to work with game data efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing concepts for future in-game features
  • Creating game design documents and keeping them up to date
  • Testing and adjusting game balance
  • Coordinating with development teams
  • Analyzing game data and metrics
  • Creating the game’s event calendar, as well as brainstorming, developing, and implementing new in-game events
  • Analyzing and balancing the game’s economy

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of game monetization principles
  • Understanding of the technical side of game development, including client-server interaction and practical aspects of MMO synchronization
  • Knowledge of the probability theory, mathematical statistics, and mathematical modeling
  • English language skills at the intermediate level or higher

Desired:

  • Hands-on experience with collection RPGs
  • Experience monetizing free-to-play games
  • University training in economics or mathematics
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R
  • Experience working with mathematical modeling tools
