Plarium is a multinational software development company specializing in mobile and desktop games. We have studios in Tel Aviv, San Francisco, Michigan, Krasnodar, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Odesa. Our games are currently played by more than 380 million users across 150 countries.

Plarium Kharkiv is looking for talented Game Designers to join our Game Design & Analytics Department, which is responsible for game design, analysis, feature concepts, and game balance across our multiple projects. The team contains a number of specialists in data analysis, project documentation design, and UX design. They come up with technical solutions that enable other teams and departments to use game data efficiently. 

The successful applicant will be working on a new third-person shooter with other specialists.

  • Taking part in brainstorming and discussing ideas for the new project
  • Creating new concepts for game mechanics and features, and improving current ones
  • Balancing the metagame and battle system
  • Creating and modifying the game economy
  • Playtesting early versions of the game and suggesting ideas that will help improve user experience


  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience writing game design documents
  • Experience creating in-game economies
  • Knowledge of advanced mathematics, especially probability theory and game theory
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
  • English language skills at the intermediate level or higher
  • Knowledge of gaming industry trends


  • Experience working with Confluence or similar feature documentation systems
  • Understanding of UX basics
  • Higher education in a technical field
  • Experience playing action games or working with them

Test task
Our recruiters will ask you to perform a test task. This will allow you to demonstrate your professional skills and give us the chance to evaluate your work.
Waiting for feedback
After you have completed your test task and sent it back to us, we will need up to 5 working days to analyze it. If your test task meets our requirements, you will be invited for an interview with the technical team lead.
Technical interview
This will give you the opportunity to tell us about your experience and allow us to explain the technical aspects of the job. If you live a long way from the studio, we can arrange a Skype interview instead.
Meeting with HR
After the technical interview, you will meet with our HR specialists. They will give you more information on your development prospects in the company and provide details about the employee benefits program.
