Plarium Kharkiv is looking for talented Environment Artists to join our Video Production Department, which is responsible for animation and visual effects. Our team of highly skilled animators, artists, and VFX specialists create cinematic content and advertising videos for all Plarium projects. Responsibilities:

Modeling and sculpting environmental objects according to references and key art
Creating photorealistic environments matching various styles and genres
Working with detailed art pieces and optimizing scenes for rendering
Choosing appropriate lighting and customizing in cooperation with Lighting and Shading Artists

Requirements:

Experience working in the movie industry or relevant experience in the gaming industry
High quality portfolio showcasing completed projects
Hands-on experience with Arnold Renderer
Firm knowledge of Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and ZBrush

Desired:

Composition sketching skills
Excellent technical and artistic problem solving skills
Efficient organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute ideas

Test task

Our recruiters will ask you to perform a test task. This will allow you to demonstrate your professional skills and give us the chance to evaluate your work.

Waiting for feedback

After you have completed your test task and sent it back to us, we will need up to 5 working days to analyze it. If your test task meets our requirements, you will be invited for an interview with the technical team lead.

Technical interview

This will give you the opportunity to tell us about your experience and allow us to explain the technical aspects of the job. If you live a long way from the studio, we can arrange a Skype interview instead.

Meeting with HR

After the technical interview, you will meet with our HR specialists. They will give you more information on your development prospects in the company and provide details about the employee benefits program.

When the above stages are complete, we will invite you to our studio to make a formal job offer. If you live in another city or country, you can use our relocation program to help you hit the ground running.
